On the "Friends" screen, users can stay updated with new restaurant recommendations from their friends. They can also explore all the lists created by their friends, ensuring they never miss out on exciting dining experiences. To manage their own restaurant lists, users can effortlessly navigate to the "My Lists" screen, where they can use filters to find specific types of restaurants.

The "Map" screen allows users to search for restaurants nearby or in a specific location. This feature provides a convenient way for users to discover new dining options while on the go.

Tianyi Qi conducted extensive research to validate the need for Foodie. Through interviews with 10 participants who were regular users of Yelp and Google, she discovered that people still rely heavily on recommendations from their social circles when it comes to finding restaurants. This insight formed the foundation of Foodie, ensuring it caters to the preferences and requirements of its target audience.

Foodie's unique approach to restaurant recommendations sets it apart from existing information sources and services. By tapping into the trust and personal connections within social circles, Foodie offers a more authentic and reliable way to discover new dining experiences.

Foodie has already garnered recognition in the design community and was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Mobile Technologies, Applications, and Software Design category in 2022.
